Job summary

We Do Group in London is seeking an Interim Financial Accountant for a 12-month engagement. The role offers £65,000–£70,000 plus benefits and a hybrid setup with three days in the office.

You will own financial reporting, compliance, audit and technical accounting as the business scales. The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA-qualified with hands-on SME experience, ready to fix processes, and proactive in delivering improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting experience.
• Experience in SME or medium-sized businesses with hands-on roles.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable with change.
• Experience with group consolidations, statutory reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Managing monthly, quarterly and annual close.

Interim Financial Accountant (12 Months)

We’re working with a fast-growing, PE-backed international business to hire a Financial Accountant.

SME, hands on and lots of scope!!

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on growth business. Things move quickly, the business is evolving and there is plenty to fix, improve and build.

We’re ideally looking for someone who has worked in an SME or medium-sized business where finance is genuinely hands-on and your role has been varied. Somewhere you’ve had to roll your sleeves up, solve problems, improve processes and get things done.

You’ll work closely with the Group Financial Controller and CFO, taking ownership across financial reporting, compliance, audit and technical accounting, while helping improve the finance function as the business continues to scale.

What we’re looking for
