Job summary

Morgan McKinley (South West) is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant on an interim basis to join a high-performing finance team in Bristol. Hybrid work with 2 days on-site per week, focusing on financial reporting, MI and technical accounting.

The role involves partnering with senior stakeholders, reviewing UK GAAP/HGB, and driving process improvements while supporting junior team members.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong post-qualification experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting and management accounting.
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP and/or HGB.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicating financial information to senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with ability to explain drivers behind the numbers.
• Comfortable challenging processes and identifying improvements.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting for senior management and Group.
• Prepare and analyse management accounts and MI with clear commentary.

• Analyse financial performance and key business drivers, highlighting trends.

Duration: 6 Months initilly
