Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking experienced Interim Financial Accountants for CFO Solutions – Finance Placements. You’ll work on short- to medium-term projects, aligning with client finance teams across various sectors, from mid-market to listed entities.

Engagements can be via your own limited company or inside IR35. These roles span accounting, audit support, remediation and finance change programs, offering variety, independence and access to a supportive Agile Talent network that helps navigate

Qualifications

Fully qualified active member of a professional accounting body such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
Experience within Industry at a turnover of £50m+, ideally FTSE-listed and/or Top 20 practice in financial/statutory accounting.
Experience with half and full-year-end accounts preparation, audit liaison and monthly management accounts."
Group Accounts Consolidation and Intercompany accounting.
Financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or international GAAP.
Preparation of year-end statutory accounts and audits.

Responsibilities

Interim finance assignments on short- to medium-term projects across diverse organisations and sectors.
Provide accounting support including year-end and statutory reporting, audits and consolidation.
Engage with clients’ finance teams, delivering high-quality finance placements and transformation support.
