Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking experienced Interim Financial Accountants to support CFO Solutions through short- to mid-term projects in diverse industries. You will work on accounting, audit support, and finance change initiatives, delivering high-quality financial reporting and timely closing cycles.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified member of a professional accounting body (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
• Experience in industry with turnover £50m+, ideally listed FTSE or Top 20 practice.
• Experience in half and full-year-end accounts, audit liaison, monthly management accounts.
• Group Accounts Consolidation and Intercompany accounting.
• Financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or other GAAP.
• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim accounting support to client finance functions across projects.
• Liaise with audit teams and clients to ensure timely reporting.
• Support group accounts consolidations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and statutory filings.
