Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to join CFO Solutions – Finance Placements. You’ll work on short- to medium-term projects across private sector clients, providing accounting and audit support, remediation of finance functions, and supporting finance change programs.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified active member of a professional accounting body such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience within Industry, in a company with turnover £50m+, ideally within a listed FTSE business and/or Top 20 practice within financial/statutory accounting capacity.
• Experience of half and full-year-end accounts preparation, audit liaison and preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Group Accounts Consolidation and Intercompany accounting.
• Financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or international GAAP.
• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim accounting support to client finance teams.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts.
• Support group accounts consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Liaise with auditors and manage statutory reporting.
• Assist on finance change programs and remediation projects.
