Job summary

We Do Group in London is seeking an Interim Financial Accountant for a 12-month engagement. The role offers £65,000–£70,000 plus benefits and a hybrid setup with three days in the office.

You will own financial reporting, compliance, audit and technical accounting as the business scales. The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA-qualified with hands-on SME experience, ready to fix processes, and proactive in delivering improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting experience.
• Experience in SME or medium-sized businesses with hands-on roles.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable with change.
• Experience with group consolidations, statutory reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Managing monthly, quarterly and annual close.
• Preparing group consolidations and financial reporting.
• Coordinating the external audit and statutory accounts.
• Supporting UK GAAP and technical accounting matters.
• Managing tax, VAT and international compliance requirements.
• Improving financial controls, processes and reporting.
• Working across finance and the wider business to improve accuracy and insight.
• Supporting projects and change as the business grows.
