Job summary

A growing international services group based in the UK seeks a Finance Manager to lead their accounting function. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, and managing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Experience within a multi-site or PE-backed environment is beneficial. The position is contract-based and located in London.

Qualifications

• Audit experience preferred from a top scheme such as Big 4.
• Experience in a multi-site environment.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Experience within SME, or PE-backed environments beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting activities for the UK & EU division in line with UK GAAP.
• Lead the month-end close process and deliver accurate reporting.
• Coordinate external audit processes and prepare audit schedules.
• Manage, coach, and develop the UK finance team.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Education

Fully qualified ACA or ACCA
