Job summary

Talentedge is partnering with a growing PE-backed consumer technology business to appoint an interim Finance Manager who will own key reporting and month-end processes. You will work closely with the finance team to deliver robust month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and support the annual audit with external auditors, while maintaining strong financial controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years PQE with industry experience.
• Strong month-end and management accounting experience.
• Experience supporting or managing a year-end audit.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively within a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Experience within consumer, technology, digital or another high-growth business would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the month-end close process.
• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis and ensure appropriate supporting documentation.
• Support the year-end audit, preparing financial statement and statutory accounts whilst working closely with external auditors.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity across the general ledger.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
• Work closely with the wider finance team and key stakeholders across the business.
• Support ad hoc finance projects as required.
