Job summary

Newstone Talent Solutions Limited is recruiting an Interim Finance Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract based in Surrey. The role is hands-on, owning the management accounts function during maternity cover and helping to streamline reporting and automation across the Finance team.

The post offers hybrid or remote working, a salary up to £60k plus benefits, and the chance to partner with senior stakeholders while improving processes, controls and KPI reporting across multi-currency

Qualifications

• Strong senior management accounts experience.
• Qualified or part qualified ACCA, CIMA or similar.
• Experience in multi-currency environments helpful.
• Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot).
• Ability to handle large data with accuracy.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with quick impact.
• Experience in e-commerce, BNPL, or finance automation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts, journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Producing management accounts packs with analysis and commentary.
• Resolving historic balance sheet reconciliation issues.
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Supporting budgets, forecasts, audit and tax.
• Identifying opportunities to automate processes.
• Supporting KPI reporting and wider finance projects.

Interim Finance Manager | 12 Month FTC | Up to £60k + Benefits | Hybrid or Remote

An established and fast growing Surrey based business is looking to appoint an experienced Interim Finance Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The role can be worked on a hybrid or fully remote basis, offering flexibility alongside an interesting and varied senior Finance position.

This is a hands on role, initially focused on taking ownership of the management accounts function during a period of maternity cover, while also having the opportunity to improve processes, reporting and automation across the wider Finance team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts, journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
• Producing management accounts packs with meaningful analysis and commentary
• Investigating and resolving historic balance sheet reconciliation issues
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders across the business
• Supporting budgets, forecasts, audit and tax requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and introduce automation
• Supporting KPI reporting and wider Finance projects

We’re looking for someone who

• Has strong senior management accounts experience
• Is qualified or part qualified ACCA, CIMA or similar
• Is comfortable working in a multi currency environment
• Has strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs and pivot tables
• Can manage large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy
• Is confident challenging existing processes and finding better ways of working
• Brings a hands on, proactive approach and can make an impact quickly

Experience within e commerce, BNPL, systems implementation or finance automation would be advantageous.
