Job summary

Newstone Talent Solutions Ltd is seeking an Interim Finance Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract with a fast-growing Surrey-based business. The role is hands-on, taking ownership of the management accounts function and driving improvements in reporting and automation.

The role offers hybrid or remote working, multi-currency experience, and collaboration with senior stakeholders. Strong Excel skills, data handling, and accuracy are essential, with a quick impact expected.

Qualifications

• Has strong senior management accounts experience.
• Is qualified or part qualified ACCA, CIMA or similar.
• Is comfortable working in a multi currency environment.
• Has strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs and pivot tables.
• Can manage large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy.
• Is confident challenging existing processes and finding better ways of working.
• Brings a hands on, proactive approach and can make an impact quickly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Produce management accounts packs with analysis and commentary.
• Investigate and resolve balance sheet reconciliation issues.
• Business partner with senior stakeholders across the business.
• Support budgets, forecasts, audit and tax requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and introduce automation.
• Support KPI reporting and wider Finance projects.
