Job summary

KCR Solutions are assisting a Newcastle-area organisation to recruit an Interim Finance Manager to work alongside the Finance Director. The role covers management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and KPI analysis, with a small team managed.

Hybrid working is available and there is potential for permanence for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with senior financial experience, and strong IT skills, especially Excel, with the ability to work both

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly management accounts with full commentary.
• Manage the P&L and balance sheet.
• Oversee financial reporting, working capital and cash flow forecasting.
• Develop KPIs to support cost control and efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior managers to improve performance.
• Partner with budget holders on financial planning and forecasting.
• Assist with year-end accounts.

KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this exceptional organisation on the outskirts of Newcastle to recruit an Interim Finance Manager, to work alongside the FD. Your duties will be as follows:

• Responsible for the monthly management accounts process with full commentary
• Managing the P & L and balance sheet
• Responsible for financial reporting, working capital and cash flow forecasts
• Producing and analysing KPIs to assist with cost control
• Working with senior managers to improve performance and efficiency
• Partnering with budget holder to deliver financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Assisting with year-end accounts
• Managing a small team

You will be a qualified Accountant and have experience in a senior financial role. The ability to work alone, as well as collaboratively is essential. Strong IT skills, particularly Excel are a pre-requisite.

There is potential for the role to go permanent for the right person.
