Job summary

An established industry player is seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to join their team in Lowestoft. This role offers a hybrid working option and is set for a duration of 4 to 6 months. You will manage a small team while ensuring the integrity of the Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet, as well as preparing annual budgets and financial reports. Job description

Description: Immediate start for an experienced Interim Accountant to support the team through a period of transition and recruitment.
The role will based in Lowestoft with a Hybrid option and be for anything between 4 and 6 months.

Responsibilities will be varied but may include:

  • Management of 3 within a busy accounting function, including setting objectives for the team.
  • Responsible for the integrity of the Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet, as well as timely reporting of the monthly financial position with commentary.
  • Prepare annual budgets and periodic budget reforecasts.
  • Analyse and understand financial performance to assist with influencing business focuses.
  • Support effective working capital management, including liquidity monitoring and cash flow reporting.
  • Responsible for implementing and monitoring internal controls in related finance processes.
  • Coordinate the year end close and audit process, including preparation of statutory accounts.
