Salary £375.00 - £400.00 per day + IR35 to be determined, likely outside

Stanton House is recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager to join a PE-backed Technology Business in London for a 3-4-month contract. The role offers a day rate of £375 - £400 per day (depending on experience), IR35 to be determined but likely to fall outside IR35. This role is mainly remote with some travel to their London offices (once a week).

This role is ideal for a qualified mid-level Finance Manager or Senior Accountant who has held a similar position within an SME environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle monthly accounting, intercompany transactions, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations for group entities.
  • Maintain contract invoice and revenue tracker; post accrued/deferred revenue by customer.
  • Update consolidation spreadsheet and report group results.
  • Submit monthly P&L and balance sheet to private equity platform.
  • Maintain and update fixed asset register.
  • Prepare and post monthly journals.
  • Support AP/AR processes as needed.
  • Maintain monthly cash flow forecast
  • Process payroll and statutory filings, including HMRC filings, etc.
  • Manage pension scheme and monthly contributions.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly Group VAT return.
  • Support the CFO with forecasting and other ad hoc finance tasks as required.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • 5+ years' experience, including 3+ years post-qualification.
  • Proficient in Sage.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex spreadsheet functions.
  • Strong communicator, confident in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Sharp, analytical, and highly organised.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
