Job summary

Anderson Knight's client, a well established manufacturing business, is seeking an Interim Finance Manager to join the site finance team on a temporary basis. The role is hands-on and high impact, combining financial leadership, business partnering, and driving performance at site level.

You will partner with the Site Lead and leadership team to optimise stock and cash, deliver accurate management information, support capex appraisals and lead risk and opportunities reporting.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing sector.
• Proven business partnering track record.
• Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Commercially astute with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Site Lead and senior leadership team, providing insight and constructive challenge.
• Produce and manage financial reporting with accuracy and pace.
• Analyse data to inform decision making at speed.
• Work with budget holders to manage, control and challenge direct and overhead spend.
• Support continuous improvement through robust financial analysis and validation of efficiency/cost saving initiatives.
• Support weekly and monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and control.
• Produce accurate weekly and monthly management information for stakeholders.
• Gatekeeper for the capital process, supporting capex appraisals and tracking spend/benefits.
• Own site-level risk & opportunity reporting, quarterly P&L reforecasts, and annual budgeting, working closely with Group FP&A.
• Ensure operational balance sheet accounts are reconciled to a high standard.
• Deputise for the Operations Finance Controller as required.

This is a hands on, high impact role for a qualified finance professional who thrives on business partnering and driving performance at site level.

You’ll be a key member of both the Finance function and the wider Site leadership team. Your focus will be on optimising stock and cash efficiency through proactive financial leadership and strong business partnering both tactically and strategically.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as finance business partner to the Site Lead and senior leadership team, providing insight and constructive challenge
• Produce and manage financial reporting with accuracy and pace

About You
