Job Scope

Responsible for directing the accounting and finance functions at one site, overseeing financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures to meet corporate and divisional financial goals. Manages subordinate staff and ensures statutory compliance of the General Ledger.

Major Responsibilities

1. Manage accounting functions, maintain records, perform reconciliations, and prepare reports for month and year-end closing.
2. Administer overhead allocation programs and calculate cost center data for quoting.
3. Develop and monitor financial timetables such as budgets and forecasts.
4. Prepare and analyze financial reports to inform strategic decisions.
5. Ensure SOX 404 compliance.
6. Monitor and approve capital expenditures.
7. Provide insights on income statements and variances.
8. Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
9. Analyze data to evaluate profitability and operational effectiveness.
10. Oversee accounting department activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
11. Prepare tax declarations and handle tax inquiries.
12. Stay updated on US GAAP and relevant technical standards.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Lead special projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Controlling; CPA preferred.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with US GAAP and statutory accounting standards.
• English language skills.
