Duration: 6-12 months
Rate: c. £700 per day (outside of IR35)
We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join a progressive, family-owned Group at a pivotal time of transformation and growth.
As Interim Finance Director, you’ll work closely with the Chairman and Directors, shaping the Group’s long-term financial health and driving strategic decision-making at Board level.
This is a hands-on leadership role with full oversight of Finance and Business Support, including HR, IT, and Marketing. You’ll lead a full strategic review of finance functions, guide business planning, implement systems improvements, and mentor the FC to build a high-performing, future-ready team.
You’ll bring expert commercial insight, robust risk management, and investment appraisal capabilities to support the Group’s ambitious plans. You’ll also oversee governance, compliance, and shareholder relations, including next-generation planning within a family office environment.
We’re seeking a seasoned, qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong commercial acumen, board-level gravitas, and experience within family-owned or investment-led businesses. Your ability to roll up your sleeves, coach a team, and deliver strategic outcomes will be key.
