Interim Finance Business Partner

Duration: 18 Month FTC

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Job Description:

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant seeking exposure in a more commercial project environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full management account preparation, excellent communication skills, and immediate availability.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Preparation of month-end journals
• Issuing month-end financial reports to budget holders, including staffing and non-pay reports
• Organizing monthly meetings with department heads to discuss variances and support quarterly re-forecasts
• Producing monthly project spend reports, including capital and revenue split versus budget, YTD, and full-year forecasts, reconciled to Agresso
• Supporting project owners with expenditure requests, analyzing spend and commitments, and preparing forecasts
• Assisting with post-completion reviews when required
• Adding completed assets to the register with appropriate narratives and componentization, applying correct asset life
• Calculating and posting depreciation each period
• Reconciling the fixed asset register to the general ledger monthly

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience producing end-to-end management accounts in a busy finance environment
• Immediate availability
• Experience handling high volumes of financial data and coding
• Strong IT skills and advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Agresso is highly advantageous
