Job Description:

The Role

A fabulous career opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to step up as a finance business partner, working closely with leads for each of the core areas of the IT, E-Business, and Transformation cost centres. The role is ideally suited to an accountant with experience supporting one-off programmes and/or significant IT investments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Timely tracking and analysis of actual spend
2. Timely and accurate updating of forecast spend
3. Tracking of financial risks and opportunities
4. Prepare monthly management reports for the Technology & Transformation team, ensuring data reconciliation
5. Calculate and maintain monthly accruals and prepayments, posting journals into Oracle
6. Work with leads to ensure risks and opportunities are reflected in forecasts and communicated to senior stakeholders via Hubble
7. Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts with the FP&A team and department heads
8. Manage POs for Technology & Transformation, liaising with stakeholders, coding, and managing extensions
9. Act as the first point of contact for finance queries related to Technology & Transformation
10. Create and manage recharge schedules, coordinating with BU finance teams

Successful Applicant

• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/IMA
• Experience supporting significant IT change programmes or CapEx spend (desirable)
• Experience in business partnering across multiple functions/divisions
• Proficiency with Oracle or similar systems with integrated modules
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to produce accurate models
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
