Job summary

The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) is supporting a well-known London-based cultural organisation in its search for an Interim Estates Lead. This hands-on leadership role will oversee a diverse estate, including a significant listed building, with a focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence.

You will lead an established team, embedding clear processes, driving a shift to planned maintenance and delivering high-quality reporting to senior leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

• Significant estates and facilities management leadership experience.
• Experience managing historic and/or listed buildings.
• Calm, measured and confident leadership style.
• Ability to embed process and improve operational standards.
• Track record of driving preventative maintenance strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience producing and presenting Board-level reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead an established estates and facilities team and drive safety, compliance and effective operations.
• Shift maintenance from reactive to planned and preventative strategies, with clear processes.
• Provide high-quality reporting and updates to senior leadership and the Board.
