Job summary

Garioch Care Home in Inverurie is seeking an Interim Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) to lead clinical governance, care delivery and regulatory compliance in a purpose-built home serving 37 residents.

You will partner with the Home Manager, mentor nursing and care teams, oversee medication management, audits and inspections, and contribute to continuous service improvement with a clear progression toward Home Manager roles.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Experience in clinical governance, audits and compliance.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff.
• Confident decision making and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on clinical governance, care planning, medication management and risk.
• Provide visible leadership to nursing and care teams, mentoring staff.
• Oversee day-to-day operations as Deputy to the Home Manager.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold standards across the home.
• Support continuous improvement and lead audits/inspections.
