Kisimul Group's Children’s Services division seeks an Interim Deputy Manager for Learning Disabilities to support the Registered Manager and lead a dedicated staff team in delivering high-quality care. You will oversee health, welfare and fulfilment of residents, organise activities, develop care plans and supervise medication administration, with strong emphasis on person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager to promote residents' independence
• Organise a wide range of social and recreational activities within and outside the home
• Assist with development and regular reviews of individual care plans for residents
• Support day-to-day operation and empower the staff team to deliver high standards of care
• Assist with staff supervisions and personal development
• Assist with the administration and recording of medication
• Collaborate with other professionals/agencies/families to ensure high-quality care
• Oversee administration of the property and related duties

INTERIM DEPUTY MANAGER - CHILDREN'S SERVICES - LEARNING DISABILITIES

Due to our on-going success and growth, we have an exciting new vacancy for a Deputy Manager for 12 months within our Childrens Services.

As a Deputy Manager, you will be key in supporting the Registered Manager and helping your team to support young adults with complex needs. About the position:

Working as a Deputy Manager, you will report into the Registered Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring the health, welfare and fulfilment of the people you are supporting.

You will be leading and inspiring a staff team to deliver exceptional and innovative care and support to the people within the home.

What will you be doing:

• Support the Registered Manager to positively promote the independence of the residents
• Take responsibility for accessing and organising an exciting and wide range of social and recreational activities both within and outside of the home
• Assist the Registered Manager with the ongoing management and development of individual care plans for the residents and ensure that regular reviews of the care plans are completed
• Support the day to day operation of the provision, including the management of the staff team and empower them to deliver the highest standards of care
• Assist with regular supervisions and support with the personal development of the staff team, enabling them to provide the residents with a caring and supportive service
• Assist with the safe administration and recording of medication alongside organising and supervising the resident’s access to other appropriate services.
• Work in conjunction with other professionals / agencies / family and friends of the residents to ensure the best possible standard of care is delivered.
• Support in the supervision of and responsibility for the administration of the property.
