Are you ready to make your mark as a Deputy Headteacher in a school where Christian values, community spirit and academic ambition go hand in hand?
Academics is proud to be supporting a well-regarded Church of England primary school with nursery provision in Medway, Kent, in their search for an inspiring interim Deputy Headteacher to join their dedicated leadership team from September to December.
This is a large primary school, with a strong sense of community and identity at its heart. With outcomes consistently above national averages across EYFS, phonics and KS2, and a strong record of pastoral care.
As Deputy Headteacher, you'll work closely with the Headteacher to lead teaching and learning, drive whole-school improvement, and act as one of the school's Designated Safeguarding Leads. You won't hold a designated class, but you'll be a visible, hands-on presence - teaching when needed, coaching colleagues, and championing an inclusive, 'can do' culture where every child can flourish.
