Ivy Rock Partners Limited is working exclusively with an education organisation to appoint an experienced Interim Credit Controller to support its finance team with the recovery of outstanding income.

This hands-on assignment is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of aged debt and make an immediate impact on cash collection. There is an option to operate with condensed hours if preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on credit control or accounts receivable experience.
• Experience with Local Authorities or public-sector debtors.
• Confident in making calls to chase payments.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Experience with Xero is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of aged debt and chase overdue payments.
• Liaise with Local Authorities to resolve payment delays.
• Review and reconcile aged debt to ensure visibility of collections.
• Establish debt tracking, reporting and escalation processes.
• Identify improvements to credit control procedures.
• Work with the finance team and train/guide to maintain processes.
