Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is recruiting an Interim Corporate Tax Accountant for our Agile Talent Community (ATC). You will work on short- to medium-term tax projects, delivering corporate tax compliance and advisory services with real impact for clients.

Engage via your own limited company or inside IR35, enjoying freedom from administrative hassles and strong support from our Tax team and network of clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory.
• Experience advising on VAT, reorganisations and M&A.
• Able to oversee tax computations, returns and accounting.
• Identify tax efficiency opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Build strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor.
• Keep up-to-date with tax legislation and communicate changes.

Responsibilities

• Support interim engagements across tax projects on a short- to mid-term basis.
• Engage with clients, provide strategic tax insight and ensure compliance.
• Review and sign-off on tax computations, returns and accounting for clients.
• Identify opportunities for tax efficiency and risk mitigation in client businesses.
• Mentor and develop junior team members within the TAX practice.
• Collaborate with the wider Tax team and external stakeholders to optimize tax positions.
