Grant Thornton UK is recruiting for the Agile Talent Community – Interim Accountant through CFO Solutions. You will work on short- to medium-term assignments across public and private sector clients, focusing on accounting support, finance change initiatives, and project-based delivery.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified professional accounting body (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent).
• Experience in accounting and finance within local government/public sector.
• Ability to problem-solve and drive best practice.
• Experience in monthly management accounts, audit liaison, and financial reporting.

Responsabilités

• Support CFO Solutions through finance placements and interim accounting assignments.
• Provide accounting and audit support, finance remediation, and change programs.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and forecasts; assist financial reporting under CIPFA/IFRS/NAO frameworks.
