Job summary

i-Jobs is seeking a Compliance Contract Lead (Electrical, Fire, Lifts) for an interim senior executive role at Gosport Town Hall. Based in Gosport, you will oversee contracts covering electrical, fire safety and lift services, ensure compliance with statutory and health & safety requirements, and report to senior stakeholders.

The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, 9:00–17:00, with a daily rate of £450. Start ASAP (14 September 2026) and duration until 4 December 2026.

Qualifications

Significant experience in compliance contract management.
Strong knowledge of electrical, fire safety and lift compliance.
Experience managing contractors and monitoring service performance.
Good understanding of health and safety obligations.
Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee compliance contracts covering electrical, fire safety and lift services.
Ensure relevant statutory, regulatory and health and safety requirements are met.
Monitor contractor performance, service delivery and compliance standards.
Manage contract issues, risks and performance concerns, taking appropriate action where required.
Work with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to maintain effective compliance arrangements.
Review relevant documentation, licences, qualifications and registrations to ensure requirements are met.
Provide senior-level advice and support on compliance and contract management matters.
Maintain accurate records and ensure required reports and documentation are completed.
