Essential Employment is seeking a Compliance Contract Lead to oversee asbestos, gas, and water compliance contracts across a housing portfolio in Gosport. The role involves leading contract reviews, ensuring KPI achievement, and delivering high-quality compliance reporting to protect residents and building users.

You will supervise contract performance, drive value for money, and liaise with residents, councillors, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing compliance contracts for property safety.
• Ability to chair contract review meetings and track KPIs.
• Experience with procurement, tender evaluations and contractor payments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with residents, councillors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor asbestos, gas, and water compliance contracts to ensure 100% compliance.
• Chair and lead regular contract review meetings, ensuring KPIs are achieved and monitored.
• Produce, maintain, and present monthly compliance performance reports.
• Monitor contractor performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure contractual obligations are delivered.
• Verify contractor invoices and applications for payment to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and value for money.
• Assist with contract specification development, procurement exercises, and tender evaluations.
• Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues, liaising with customers, residents, leaseholders, councillors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support the Compliance Manager and provide deputy cover when required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance information is appropriately reported and managed.
• Attend operational, strategic, and stakeholder meetings as necessary.

Compliance Contract Lead needed to work around Gosport Paying £450 per day ref 5302955

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

• This is a key role responsible for managing compliance contracts relating to the assessment, monitoring, and management of property safety risks across the housing portfolio.

  The successful candidate will oversee contracts covering:

  • Asbestos Management Surveys
  • Gas Inspections, Testing and Servicing
  • Water Risk Assessments

  You will ensure statutory compliance obligations are met, contractor performance is effectively managed, and residents and building users remain safe through the delivery of high-quality compliance services.

  Additional compliance disciplines may be introduced in the future and assigned as required.
