Job summary

The ONE Group Ltd in Cambridge is partnering with an established charity to appoint an experienced Interim CFO for a 6–12 month assignment. You will lead the finance function, shape financial strategy and governance, and provide senior financial leadership to Trustees.

The role requires fully qualified finance professionals with charity/not-for-profit background and a proven ability to manage restricted funding, statutory reporting and external audits, while developing the finance team and

Qualifications

Fully qualified finance professional with senior-level experience in charity/not-for-profit sectors.
Strong understanding of restricted funding, governance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead the finance function and provide senior financial leadership across the organisation (Cambridge-based charity).
Oversee management accounts, financial reporting, forecasting and financial planning.
Provide clear financial insight to senior leadership and Trustees.
Maintain robust financial controls, governance and risk management.
Lead statutory reporting and the annual external audit.
Oversee treasury, reserves and restricted funding cashflows.
Ensure effective reporting of restricted funds and donor requirements.
Review and improve financial policies, processes and systems.
Lead, support and develop the finance team.
Partner with senior stakeholders to support decision-making.
