Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor for an interim assignment based in London. You will carry out surveys, collect samples, and document findings to support clients in managing asbestos risks.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out asbestos surveys on a range of building types.
• Strong report writing skills with clear findings.
• Good communication skills to advise clients and site teams.
• Able to start at short notice and contribute from the outset.
• Willingness to travel to sites with a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos surveys on a range of premises in line with current legislation and guidance.
• Inspect buildings, identify suspect materials and take samples for laboratory analysis.
• Assess the type, condition and location of asbestos-containing materials and the risk they present.
• Produce clear, accurate survey reports with findings and practical recommendations.
• Maintain accurate site records, including photographs, plans and sample logs.
• Follow safe working methods and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Advise clients and site teams on asbestos management and compliance.
• Liaise with laboratories, clients and colleagues to deliver surveys and reports on time.
• Keep survey records and client information accurate and up to date.
