IPS Group Limited in Leeds is seeking an Interim Accountant for a 6-month contract. The hybrid role requires 2 days in the office and focuses on investigating issues with financial information supplied by an outsourced finance provider, taking ownership of reconciliations, controls and banking activities.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant who can identify discrepancies, create solutions, and drive process improvements with strong stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting experience.
• Ability to investigate issues and create practical solutions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and drive for process improvements.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile bank accounts and establish a robust ongoing reconciliation process.
• Manage transaction processing with outsourced providers, including journals and month-end reconciliations.
• Produce monthly reporting documentation.
• Collaborate with outsourced suppliers to improve accounting and banking operations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identify enhancements to accounting processes to strengthen controls.
