Interim Accountant

I am recruiting an Interim Accountant for a manufacturing business based in Staveley, Chesterfield.

This is an immediate need for an Interim Accountant while we conduct a thorough process for a permanent appointment, so there is a possibility of a permanent role should you desire.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurate and timely completion of all Month-End Accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet).

• Agree intercompany balances with relevant counterparties within the group.

• Oversee Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Cashbook.

• Process Bank Payments/Bank Reconciliations.

• Prepare Timesheet Data for Monthly Payroll.

• Review & Submission of Statutory Returns (VAT, Tax etc.).

• Manage Forecast and Budget submissions.

• Liaise with External Auditors.

It is a standalone role for this site reporting into Head Office at another location. The Group Finance Controller/Manager from Head Office will come to site to train/handover during the first week.

This is an office-based role, based in Staveley, 40 hours per week (Mon – Thu 8am – 5pm, Fri 8am – 2pm).
