Job summary

SSEN Transmission's Onshore Delivery team is recruiting an Interface Project Manager to lead the Carnaig Substation Project, coordinating interfaces across contractors, designers and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

You will own interface management, identify risks, support governance and help deliver a major infrastructure project that contributes to Scotland's electricity network and the UK's net zero ambitions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex engineering, construction or infrastructure projects with multi-contractor coordination.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and health and safety in regulated environments.
• Ability to identify, manage and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Strong stakeholder relationship building across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with project controls, contract management and integrated delivery programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across multiple contract and design workstreams, ensuring interfaces are managed and communicated.
• Own the project's interface management arrangements with contractors, designers and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve interface issues to protect programme, cost, safety and quality.
• Support risk and opportunity governance with practical mitigation measures.
• Contribute to governance activities to deliver a nationally significant infrastructure project.
