We are seeking an Interaction Designer to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital. Our team uses innovative ideas and cutting-edge technology to develop digital solutions impacting nearly every person in the UK daily.

As an Interaction Designer, you will drive innovation by creating user-friendly UX/UI designs that make DWP systems accessible and efficient. You will base design decisions on user data and research, creating prototypes to validate your designs. Working within agile teams, you will collaborate with researchers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful services. You will also be part of a broader DWP design community for sharing best practices and ongoing learning.
Location: Digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, or Sheffield.
Hybrid Working: Mix of remote and face-to-face work.
Pay: Up to £45,081 annually.
Pension: Civil service pension with employer contributions up to 28.97%, approximately £13,059 per year.
Holidays: 26 to 31 days annual leave plus public holidays and up to 3 extra days off per month on flexi-time.
