Job summary

Stevenage Borough Council is seeking a Service Support Worker to manage a caseload of 15-20 clients across Hertfordshire, providing intensive support for substance misuse and offending. You will work with partners to tailor a support plan and determine contact outside of normal hours to meet individual needs.

To actively challenge issues and remove barriers, you will deliver practical and emotional support, signpost services, and represent SBC at internal and external meetings including

Qualifications

• Experience delivering intensive support to individuals with complex needs.
• Ability to work with partner agencies using a multi-agency approach.
• Strong communication, resilience and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 15–20 clients across Hertfordshire.
