Job summary

The Intensive Support Service, part of The Enablement Hub (a trading name of PBS4), is currently looking to build upon its pool of Intensive Support Workers to respond to emergency situations at short notice in the South Coast region. You would be a key asset in delivering high-quality, safe, person-centred support for individuals in crisis.

The role requires resilience, empathy, and experience with complex care needs; travel and accommodation may be arranged as needed to support the person

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in social care.
• Experience with 2:1/3:1/4:1 support.
• Full UK driving license is beneficial.
• Active, mobile, resilient, empathetic and patient.
• Experience of positive behaviour support and intensive interaction.
• Able to work in the UK – sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent, person-centred support in crisis situations.
• Coordinate with commissioners, NHS and other social care providers across the South Coast.
• Build a dedicated team to ensure high-quality, safe support.
• Travel to different locations on short notice; travel and accommodation support may be provided.
• Maintain personalised care planning and adaptability to individual needs.
