Hampshire County Council is seeking an Intensive Worker to support families facing complex needs. Based at the North East Hampshire Specialist Intensive Worker Hub, you will collaborate with Social Workers to deliver strengths-based support and help families build resilience in their homes and communities.

The role involves intensive home and community work with flexible hours, including evenings or Saturdays, and close liaison with professionals to plan coordinated support for positive outcomes

Qualificações

• Experience working directly with parents and families.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including mediation.
• Ability to work independently within a supportive team.
• Proficient IT skills and clear written reporting.
• Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practice.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct, intensive support and tailored interventions to families to safeguard children.
• Work with children and families with complex needs, offering parenting support in home/community.
• Facilitate sustainable change through direct work with parents and children.
• Collaborate with professionals to plan and deliver coordinated support.
• Complete reports and assessments, including court-related reports and family meetings.
