Job summary

Perth and Kinross Council is inviting applications for an Enhanced Pupil Support Assistant in the Intensive Support Provision at Tulloch Primary School, Perth. This fixed-term role runs until 31 March 2027, 27.5 hours per week during term time, with a salary of £18,847–£20,505 per year.

The post involves supporting learners with complex needs, delivering tailored programmes, and ensuring welfare and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with additional support needs.
• Interest in working in an educational environment.
• Genuine interest in child development, communication, sensory needs and wellbeing.
• Experience with primary-aged children with severe/complex needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of tailored learning programmes for pupils with additional support needs.
• Provide essential support to class, ensuring care, wellbeing and health & safety of pupils.
• Support pupils at break and lunchtimes and encourage active play.
• Possibly support pupils across the school and during community outings.
