Job summary

Perth & Kinross Council is seeking an Enhanced Pupil Support Assistant for the Intensive Support Provision at Coupar Angus Primary School. The role is fixed-term to 15 August 2027, 27.5 hours per week during term time, with a salary of £18,847–£20,505.

The successful candidate will support a learner with complex additional support needs, build positive relationships, and work alongside staff, families and partner agencies to promote inclusion and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with complex additional support needs.
• Ability to follow individual support plans and work in a team.
• Strong communication, safeguarding and collaboration with families and partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, nurturing support for an individual learner within the Intensive Support Provision.
• Work closely with teaching staff, families and partner agencies to meet the learner's needs.
• Promote inclusion, wellbeing and a sense of belonging within the school community.
