Job summary

Countryview Short Breaks Service at Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir, is hiring an Intensive Support Practitioner on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll work a 7-day rota, 15–30 hours per week, earning £15.02 per hour and joining a warm, supportive team.

You’ll provide person-centred support to children and young people with disabilities, creating a safe, homely environment and responding to anxieties or distressed behaviours during the night.

Qualifications

• Hold qualifications and experience in supporting children and young people in residential, care, education or community settings.
• Trauma‑informed and person‑centred approach to work.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Patient, resilient, and passionate about helping children reach their potential.
• Team player who contributes positively to the service.

• Creating a warm, calm and homely environment.
• Supporting children with medical, personal care and wellbeing needs.

AtCountryview Short Breaks Service, we provide high-quality short breaks for children and young people with disabilities, creating a space where they can relax, have fun, build independence and spend time with others.

Our service is more than just a place to stay - it’s somewhere children build familiarity, confidence and positive memories. Many return again and again, forming relationships and enjoying their time in a safe, homely and supportive environment.

As anIntensive Support Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in making this experience consistent and reassuring- ensuring children feel safe, settled and supported.

Working over a 7-day rota, you’ll provide person-centredsupport to children and young people with a range of complex needs. We are offering part time contracts 15 hours to30hours per week. Paying an hourlyrate of£15.02per hour.

This includes:
