Job summary

ERSOU in Stevenage is seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst to join the Sensitive Intelligence Unit. You will collect, collate and analyse information from a range of sources to support investigations into serious and organised crime and to inform operational decisions.

The role requires handling sensitive data, working to evidential standards, and being available for an on-call rota with some weekend work, including travel across the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year as an analyst in law enforcement or intelligence.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and data handling.
• Experience with communications data and reputable databases.

Responsibilities

• Collect, collate, evaluate and analyse information to investigate organised crime.
• Produce high quality analytical products to support operations.
• Make recommendations to direct operational teams and assist convictions.
• Work independently under pressure to support operational needs.
• Build relationships with partner agencies to develop intelligence.
• Peer-review analytical products to maintain evidential standards.
