ERSOU - Regional Organised Crime Unit is seeking an Intelligence Researcher part-time (up to 22 hours per week) in Stevenage. The role involves interrogating databases, conducting data input, and producing concise intelligence for stakeholders.

Strong communication and experience in policing environments are desirable. Travel to Stevenage is expected twice a week; flexible agile working is encouraged within the ERSOU team.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with Windows-based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to interrogate data from multiple systems, working to tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Interrogate a range of databases and systems to identify intelligence of value to departments or individuals.
• Conduct daily scanning or data input activities as required to assist in understanding threat, risk and vulnerability.
• Liaise with customers to define research requirements, asking key questions to clarify understanding and provide advice on opportunities and limitations.
