Job summary

The Tarian ROCU within South Wales Police invites applications for a Regional Intelligence Analyst to join the Tackling Organised Exploitation (TOEX) team. You will deliver analytic support to tackle CSE, OIC, modern slavery, and County Lines across the Southern Wales region and collaborate with multiple forces.

The role offers flexible working from home with office presence as required, and travel across the UK for meetings and training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective and efficient analysis to support intelligence development across CSE, OIC, Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking, and County Lines.
  • Collaborate with the TOEX team and ROCU partners to identify threats and inform operational decision-making.

Job Advert Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Tarian Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU). ROCUs form a critical part of the national policing network,providinga range of specialist policing capabilities to forces which help them to investigate,disruptand dismantle serious and organised crime effectively.

Tarian capabilities include the Tackling Organised Exploitation Programme (TOEX), undercover policing, specialist surveillance, cyber-crime investigation, and economic crime investigation. Tarian investigate and disrupt organised crime groupsoperatingacross police force boundaries. Additionally, we act asan important pointof connection between police forces and the National Crime Agency (NCA).

We areseekingto recruit a Regional Intelligence Analyst to work within the Tackling Organised Exploitation (TOEX) team, as part of the wider ROCU Research and Analysis capability. The successful candidate willbe responsible forthe provision of effective and efficient analysis, to support intelligence development to tackle Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), Organised Immigration Crime (OIC), Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking, and County Lines across the Southern Wales region.

Whilst there will be a requirement to attend the office to provide operational support and attend meetings, there is flexibility within the role for working from home.

This role may require attendance at meetings and/or training at venues throughout the UK as well as travel within the Southern Wales Region.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
