Working alongside an experienced Head of Commercial, you will advise a diverse client base across technology, life sciences, media and other innovative sectors on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters.

The Role:

• Advise clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters
• Support businesses on trade marks, copyright, licensing, assignments, brand protection and IP strategy
• Work closely with technology, life sciences and media clients on commercially focused legal solutions
• Collaborate with colleagues across Commercial, Corporate, Data Protection and Litigation teams
• Assist in developing and growing the firm\'s Intellectual Property offering as part of a wider Commercial Services strategy
• Mentor and support junior lawyers while contributing to the continued growth of the team
• Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships through internal referral networks

The Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in contentious and non-contentious Intellectual Property law
• Currently operating at Associate or Senior Associate level
• Experience advising clients on trade marks, copyright, licensing, IP commercialisation and brand protection
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused advice
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Collaborative approach with an interest in mentoring junior lawyers
• Enthusiastic about helping to build and develop a growing Intellectual Property practice
• Commercially minded with an interest in business development, although an existing client following is not required
