Job summary

Logistex is seeking an Integration Project Manager to lead complex warehouse automation projects. You will own key workstreams, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence across multi-disciplinary teams.

Applicants should have experience in automation, intralogistics or capital equipment projects, with strong skills in project planning using Microsoft Project and Excel, plus contractor management and site delivery. This full-time role is based on site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex engineering, automation or capital equipment projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning tools, especially Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Experience overseeing physical installations, contractor management and site delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of large-scale automation and integration projects within safety, time and budget constraints.
• Develop and maintain project plans using Microsoft Project, handling risks, resources and milestones.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, software, site management, suppliers and customers.
• Manage onsite installation activities, contractors and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
• Lead customer communications, testing, commissioning and final handover activities.

We are looking for an Integration Project Manager to join our warehouse automation project team to focus on our new customer project, you will take ownership of key project workstreams, ensuring automation projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities for an Integration Project Manager

• Lead the successful delivery of large-scale automation and integration projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans using Microsoft Project, managing risks, resources, costs and key milestones.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, software, site management, suppliers and customers.
• Manage onsite installation activities, contractors and subcontractors, ensuring contractual and project objectives are achieved.
• Lead customer communication, testing, commissioning and final project handover activities.

What we hope you have as a Integration Project Manager

• Proven experience managing complex engineering, automation, manufacturing or capital equipment projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning tools, particularly Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Experience overseeing physical installations, contractor management and site-based project delivery.
• Sound understanding of CDM regulations, Health & Safety and safe systems of work.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Experience leading testing, commissioning and customer acceptance activities.
• Prince2, APM or equivalent project management qualifications are desirable. The original role specification also identifies HNC/HND Engineering qualifications as highly desirable.
