Cardiff Council's Into Work Advice Service seeks an Integration Manager to lead partnership working across the South East Wales region, strengthening links with Local Authorities, partners, health services and community organisations. The role embeds Connect to Work within local employment pathways and improves referral processes.
You will monitor KPIs against targets, compile information for Senior Council Managers and funders, and oversee continuous service improvement across 10 authorities.
The Into Work Advice Service provides support to people who are actively seeking employment or looking to upskill; the team is able to offer support and intensive mentoring through externally funded project sand volunteering opportunities.
The Into Work Advice Service manages a number of externally funded employability projects, which is supported by the work of the Quality Team through audits, monitoring and evaluation of each of the programmes.
The Integration Manager will lead partnership working across the region, strengthening strategic and operational links with Local Authorities, commissioned delivery partners, health services, and community organisations. The role will ensure that Connect to Work is fully embedded within local employment and support pathways, enhancing referral processes and ensuring seamless participant journeys.
The postholder is responsible for the monitoring KPI’s against project targets and ensure continuous service improvement across all 10 local authorities in the South East Wales Region. The role is responsible for compiling monitoring information for Senior Council Managers, funding providers Welsh Government and UK government.
You will bring extensive experience of supervising and managing others to include coaching and supporting.
Working knowledge of Fidelity Scales within employability support.
You will have experience of working with unemployed job seekers and people looking to upskill from their current job.
The role requires experience of multi-agency partnership working.
You will have experience of externally funded programmes
The ability to produce progress reports for Senior Managers
You will have the ability to analyse and summarise complex documents and dataYou will have experience of new technology including word processing systems, use of spreadsheets and other relevant I.T systems.
This post is temporary until 31/03/2030.

The post will be required to work from a number of different locations, including Central Library Hub and other community Hub buildings across the South East Wales Region.
