Job summary

Better Placed is seeking an hands‑on Integration Engineer to design, build and support connections between ecommerce and ERP, WMS and other systems. You’ll work across APIs, webhooks and data flows to connect ecommerce platforms with third‑party services in a fully remote UK role.

Responsibilities include owning integrations end‑to‑end, troubleshooting issues and improving reliability and monitoring. Shopify/NetSuite experience is a plus, with a 20% bonus on top of salary.

Remote – UK

My client is looking for a hands‑on Integration Engineer to help build, improve and support the connections between a range of ecommerce and operational platforms.

Sitting within the engineering team, you'll work across APIs, webhooks, backend services and data flows, connecting ecommerce with ERP, warehouse, fulfilment and other third‑party systems.

This is a hands‑on technical role rather than a purely configuration or support position. You'll be involved throughout the lifecycle – understanding requirements, designing integrations, building solutions and supporting them in production.

The role

• Design, build and maintain integrations between ecommerce and operational systems
• Develop and consume REST/GraphQL APIs and webhooks
• Work with data flows covering orders, customers, products, inventory and fulfilment
• Integrate ecommerce platforms with ERP, WMS, fulfilment and third‑party systems
• Diagnose integration failures, data discrepancies and production issues
• Improve monitoring, reliability and scalability across existing integrations
• Work with engineering and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

About you

• Hands‑on experience building system integrations
• Strong experience working with APIs, webhooks and third‑party platforms
• Comfortable working with data flowing between multiple systems
• Experience owning integrations from requirements/design through to production
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Experience within ecommerce or another high‑volume transactional environment would be particularly useful. Exposure to Shopify / Shopify Plus, NetSuite, ERP/WMS platforms, Celigo or another iPaaS would be a major advantage, but isn't essential.

The key requirement is someone who can actually build integrations, rather than purely configure or support them.

Fully remote UK | £55,000 – £70,000 + 20% bonus
