mydentist is seeking an Integration Engineer to join our Tech & Transformation team in the UK. You will work across clinical, finance, CRM and patient data systems, designing and delivering resilient data flows.

The role is hybrid, based in Greater Manchester, with one day per week in the office. We value collaboration, modern integration practices and ongoing learning within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise integration projects in a complex landscape.
• Hands-on with iPaaS platforms such as Boomi and/or Azure Integration Services.
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs and data flow across systems.
• Experience with file-based integrations (FTP/MFT) and secure data transfer.
• Collaborates with architects, engineers and product teams to define requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain enterprise-grade integrations.
• Build and support integrations across clinical, finance, CRM and patient systems.
• Work with Solution/Enterprise Architects and Data Engineers to capture requirements.
• Stay current with Boomi, Azure and best practices; improve integration patterns.

The role requires a strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous and event‑driven integration patterns, and how data moves at scale across distributed platforms.Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise grade integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere and Azure Integration Services (including Azure API Management).Build and support integrations across clinical, finance, CRM, and patient systems, including platforms such as R4, Dentally, IFS, Salesforce, and internal CRM solutions.Implement and maintain SOAP and REST based APIs to enable secure and reliable data exchange between applications.Develop and support file based integrations using FTP and MFT, ensuring secure data transfer and operational reliability.Work closely with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, Product Teams, and Business Stakeholders to understand integration requirements.Use AI assisted coding tools (e.g. Claude Code or similar) to accelerate delivery through tasks such as boilerplate generation, test case creation, and rapid exploration of unfamiliar APIs.Stay current with Boomi, Azure, and integration best practices, continuously improving how integrations are designed, built, and maintained.An ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering integrations in a complex enterprise environment with hands on experience with iPaaS solutions like Boomi and/or Azure Integration Services.Your future starts hereBuild a fulfilling career with us, where you'll find the opportunity to develop your skills and shape our organic growth strategy, with the support of a caring and inclusive team who support one another.Click to apply now!
