Integration Architect
Responsibilities:
* Designs the integration framework to connect disparate systems within the system of systems. Ensures seamless data and process flow across boundaries.
* Key Deliverables: Integration patterns (e.g., APIs, middleware, messaging), system interface specifications, and interoperability standards.
* Collaboration: Works with the data architect to align data flows and the security architect to ensure secure integrations.
Job Summary:
The Integration Architect will design and implement the framework for connecting disparate systems within the system of systems. This role ensures seamless interoperability, efficient data exchange, and robust system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop integration strategies, patterns, and standards (e.g., APIs, messaging, middleware).
* Design system interfaces and specify data exchange protocols.
* Collaborate with the Data Architect to align integration designs with the architectural data model.
* Work with the Security Architect to ensure integrations meet security and compliance requirements.
* Validate integration performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* 6+ years of experience in systems integration or enterprise architecture.
* Proficiency in integration technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, Kafka, REST/SOAP APIs).
* Experience with complex, multi-system environments.
Preferred Skills:
* Knowledge of cloud integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
* Understanding of data modeling and security principles.
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
