Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a proactive Clerical Officer to support Intermediate Care Services across hospital and community settings.

You will handle referrals, data, stock orders, and non-clinical inquiries, while maintaining confidentiality and using Fusion, Careflow, ESR and Outlook.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience using NHS systems Fusion, Careflow and ESR.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Diary management using Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support Intermediate Care Services with clerical tasks and referrals.
• Liaise with patients, families and clinicians; assist with daily admin tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with Data Protection Act.
• Handle non-clinical enquiries and communications across departments; manage information.
• Assist with data collection and stock ordering as required.
