Job summary

Sirona care & health in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire is seeking an operational leader to support the Integrated Network Teams (INTs) and senior clinicians in planning, delivery, and improvement of community services.

You will drive projects aligned with BNSSG objectives, support staff development, and ensure services remain safe, effective and compassionate in the home and community setting.

Qualifications

  • Operational management experience and managing multidisciplinary teams in varied locations.
  • Demonstrates problem solving and decision making skills, evidence of ability to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Able to demonstrate leadership through change, experience of service reviews.
  • Experience of managing performance and involvement in strategic decision making and partnership work.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant Locality Manager and Locality Manager in leading the Integrated Network Teams (INTs).
  • Plan, deliver, improve and develop a range of clinical services in line with BNSSG Adult Community Services Contract.
  • Lead projects contributing to service objectives and wider organisational goals.
  • Maintain and improve the performance of the INTs, care to service users and development of staff.
  • Lead by example to engage, challenge and develop staff across the teams.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the operational leadership team in the South Gloucestershire Locality supporting the Community Nursing teams within the Integrated Network Teams (INT's). The Integrated Network Teams (INT's) are integral to supporting our people of South Gloucestershire to age well - they provide a full range of nursing and therapy skills to prevent unnecessary admission; facilitate discharge and provide planned intervention to help people to remain safe, well and as independent as possible in their own home. Our INT's deliver out of hospital care to people in their own homes, care homes or community clinics. We provide both planned and unplanned care during the hours of 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week. Your role will include day to day operational management and be key to maintaining and improving the performance of the INT's; leading by example you will support the growth and development of our teams and the individual staff within them. In turn we can provide you with a supportive environment where we are committed to your ongoing development - helping you to reach your full potential., Your primary purpose will be to support the Assistant Locality Manager and Locality Manager in leading the Integrated Network Teams (INTs) and senior clinicians in the planning, delivery, improvement and development of a range of clinical services. You will support a number of projects that will contribute to the achievement of service objectives and wider organisational goals in line with the service specifications for BNSSG Adult Community Services Contract. Your role will be key to maintaining and improving the performance of the INTs, care to service users, supporting and developing staff and the resultant impact on the organisation as a whole. You will be required to lead by example to gain the best from services and staff, ensuring they are supported to remain engaged, positively challenged and effective.
